Budding music star in the making

Do I see a budding music star in the making? As Mishti enjoys listening to ABBA, she sure has an ear for music be it lilting spiritual bhajans (yes she does enjoy bhajans) or the masala bollywood gaanas. I guess it runs in her genes!

Seen here comfortably seated in her swing, Mishti now wants to sit in her swing all the time. So now all her meal times we have to feed her running back and forth while she sings aloud - aaa baaa maaaa .

Cycle ki sawari

Her series of first-time experiences continued in Lucknow (on holiday in March). This time on board in various modes of transport...Auto, Rickshaw and Train. And man did she love all of them.

Mishti's with Baby Sparrow

Her trip to Lucknow was filled with several first-time experiences. In a series of firsts, Mishti's tryst with a newly born sparrow began on a hesitant note. Initially scared, she gradually grew to like the baby sparrow. Her interaction with the now almost-extinct sparrow goes on to prove that children love nature. And if we give them the right ambience to enhance their love for Nature, Global Warming will be a thing of yore. Looks like there's another nature lover in the making!

Summer is here declares Mishti as she has kept away her thermals, sweater and socks. Wearing frock for perhaps the first time (can't remember the first time she wore one), Mishti is thrilled to bits. What's even more exciting for her is squatting on the floor, gives her all the freedom to lick away the floor and keep it sparkling clean.

Although the dresses vary,the expression however is the same :) one of shock, awe and surprise all rolled in one. Mishti was the cynosure of all eyes in the Baanke Bihari temple as well where a lot of people touched her feet as the little gopika of krishna.

Journey to Vrindavan

En-route to Vrindavan stopped for buying oranges and guavas. btw Mishti loves orange juice, makes those gurgling noises when she has it.
