Mahashree off to Kasauli

Independence Day this year was brought in with a much-needed break (especially after Top 20), so off we went on 12th August (a day earlier than planned) to Kasauli along with Amma, Kaka and Sornendu and of course Mishti in tow. This incidentally was Mishti's first visit to the hills and what an experience it was. From the clouds settling on the roads to rains in the hills and a walk in the woods, Mishti experienced it all. And she was mightily excited primarily because of several reasons - one of them being the large open spaces wherein she could run off anywhere. Her food was once again arranged by Amma thanks to her having the good idea once again of carrying the electric cooker with us. Enroute we went by many scenic places in HP like Solan, Baddi etc. On the 15th Aug, we also went to Shimla where choc-a-bloc jams greeted us since the whole of Delhi had decided to drop in. This led to much bickering and heart burn since we were arguing among ourselves for we could not find a parking space and then Sornendu was tired after all the drive in the hills. But all in all a much remembered visit, one that we intend to repeat soon, God willing!

Mishti celebrated her two years on July 29, 2011 in a family party attended by her grandmother and her maternal set of grandparents. The birthday cake once again came from Wengers, CP New Delhi, the flavor this time was fruit cake. This time, the icing on the cake was her tri-cycle sourced from Chandni Chowk after a hectic search for it courtesy her Nana ji . Mishti however was not her cheery best since the cake was cut quite late in the evening at around 9pm.
Here's wishing you many More Happy Birthdays to come, Mishti muaaah

Metro ki yaatra

Metro ki Yaatra

Her first visit to Chandni Chowk coincided with her first Metro trip. Shy, cautious, quiet and evidently happy and giggly, Mishti made the most of her first Metro yaatra. Oh yaa and to ward off unanted attention, she was wearing a Tantra t-shirt that said - You are dead, if you try to kiss me, cuddle me or cootchie coo me

Mishti with Maa

Taken this morning, one of the several impromptu pics, this surely is one of the cutest pics of Mishti; in an endearing pose with Maa she is smiles all the way... muwaahhh

The first foreign jaunt

The three generations at Sentosa, Singapore

The first but certainly not the last among many such trips we plan to undertake, the three generations took off on their first foreign jaunt to Singapore on Jan 24th, 2011 flying on Singapore Airlines for a four day trip. The youngest of the traveller was Mishti who aged only 1 years and six months was off to her first foreign trip and that too to Singapore, must say what a start. This girl I am sure will go places. Our first stop at Singapore was the Sentosa Island recommended by one and all. Although we did the usual tourist regulars - Water World, Dolphin show and Butterfly Park, yet with Amma and Mishti in tow, the trip was certainly the most memorable one till date. And Mishti certainly enjoyed herself epecially at the Water World where she saw various types of fishes.
