Moods of Mishti

Various moods of Mishti...

1. Beating the winter chill

2. Posing pretty

3. Cosying up in the blanket

4. Deep in thought

5. What next?

First trip to Vrindavan

Mishti's first trip to Vrindavan resulted in becoming a star devotee with the panditji taking her right in the sanctum sanctorum for blessings and then garlanding her with a rose garland. Here she stands with Sornendu and Munna Maama right outside the Shri Baanke Bihari ji temple.

I am working

She seems to be an eager learner and laptop especially fascinates her. Whenever she sees one, all she wants to do is to jump on it and press all keys possible. She has even managed to take out one of the keys from Sornendu's laptop. An IIT graduate at the age of 2 years, project manager at 3 years, CEO at the age of 4 and retirement when she turns five...

Shaan ki sawari jaan ki sawari, meri bullet. Bhaiyya's bullet in Lucknow has the baccha party clamouring on it. From backwards Mannat, Ananya, Yash and Mishti (Mahashree). Bullet could perhaps use this as an advertisement

Mishti's first new year was brought in Lucknow, my hometown. Here she poses with Amma and looks like totally at ease in front of the camera. Although she was not awake when the clock struck 12, her cousins (Mannat didi and Yash dada) made sure that they enjoyed their new year with her before she went off to sleep. Some glimpses from the celebrations...

Mishti born to us on July 29th, 2009 was an adorable baby right from day 1. No fuss and content with whatever she got, the journey with her has been full of ups. Taken on July 30th, 2009, one of my colleagues Priya aptly commented- Mishti looks like a scoop of strawberry ice-cream on a pink cone!
Although the responsibility of becoming a parent seems overwhelming for a few days, one does get used to the idea of caring for someone selflessly.
